A. Clean the oil machine (before use):


Please make sure that the machine and pipeline are cleaned completely, and use clean water for the final cleaning until the water returning from the pipeline is clear, transparent and colorless.


B. Roll paper handling:


When the paper is too soft and easy to roll, please increase the oil speed and increase the pressure. At the same time, you can add an air knife device to prevent the paper from rewinding


C. Coating amount:


Dry weight: 1.8-2.5 g/㎡ (or wet weight: 5-7 g/㎡)


The amount of coating depends on the material of the paper. The looser paper card needs a higher coating amount to obtain sufficient blister film thickness on the surface of the paper card to ensure the bonding effect during heat sealing. The coating amount will also increase the difficulty of drying and affect the performance and effect, not the more the better


Adequate coating amount is very important, please measure and monitor the coating amount with an electronic balance regularly to keep the coating amount constant.


D. Viscosity change


Viscosity is the performance of liquid fluidity and has nothing to do with the amount of active ingredients, but with temperature and the product itself. High viscosity does not mean high active ingredients. Similarly, viscosity has no direct relationship with the bonding effect. However, the viscosity change will affect the amount of coating: under the same coating roller spacing, the higher the viscosity of the same blister oil, the greater the coating amount (the higher the viscosity, the more the coating roller transfers to the paper card). The greater the amount of plastic oil), the viscosity will have a significant impact on the coating amount. Viscosity changes have the following factors:


1. Temperature:


The viscosity of the blister oil is affected by temperature. The viscosity/consistency of the same blister oil will decrease at high temperatures, and will increase at low temperatures. This is determined by the nature of the blister oil itself, which is a normal phenomenon, and affects the product itself. no effect


2. Viscosity/consistency changes during construction


Long-term construction will cause the lack of water due to the evaporation of the machine. At this time, the product thickens and the viscosity increases. You can appropriately add new oil to reduce the product viscosity/consistency. Please timely monitor whether the viscosity is normal (the fluctuation range exceeds 20s. Affect the coating amount). If it is too high, please add new oil appropriately (do not dilute with water) to achieve the best use effect. If it is not monitored all the time, it may cause the viscosity/consistency to increase, and the coating amount of blister oil If it is too large, sticking or back sticking may occur.


Remarks: The viscosity can be measured with 4 cups


E. Dilution of blister oil:


Please never perform any dilution action. Using clean water to dilute will cause poor drying or insufficient dry coating, which will cause the blister card to stick back or affect the heat sealing effect. Any other solvents, such as thinner, will be added. Cause the blister oil to deteriorate, resulting in irreversible damage.


F. Drying and curing of blister oil:


For water-based polyurethane blister oil, drying is a very important factor. Only when the water is completely dried can a strong blister oil film be formed to provide good anti-sticking properties, scratch resistance, and heat-seal bonding properties. It is recommended. The parameters are as follows:


1. Please adjust the production line speed according to the drying efficiency conditions of the respective equipment to obtain the ideal drying result.


2. Oven: Number of infrared tubes: 9-12, it is better to have a fan to take away the evaporated water


3. The number of cooling fans after leaving the oven: 8 -12 (the more the better)


Please control the temperature after cooling below 37℃ (inclusive) to avoid sticking back problems during stacking


4. Collection and stacking of paper cards:


After oiling, please stand upright to avoid sticking or scratching caused by the paper card not being completely dried. The length of the standing time depends on the dry condition. Then stand for 24-48 hours to complete the blister oil. After the drying and curing process, the subsequent processes such as die cutting or mounting can be carried out.


Remarks: After the blister oil is coated, a process period is required to complete the internal chemical reaction to form a stronger chemical structure, and the residual moisture will hinder the reaction and prolong the reaction time.


G. Coating times:


Generally speaking, one coating is sufficient, and two coatings may be required in the following situations:


1. The ideal situation of coating is to obtain a balance between the depth of the blister oil penetrated into the fiber layer of the paper card and the thickness left on the surface of the paper card. If the paper card is too loose to maintain the blister oil layer on the surface of the paper card According to the minimum thickness requirement on the above, dividing the wet coating amount of 5-7 g/㎡ into two coatings will effectively help solve this problem.


If the drying conditions of the equipment really cannot meet the requirement of non-sticky, dividing the wet coating amount of 5-7 g/m2 into two coatings will effectively help solve this problem.


H. Oil machine cleaning (after coating):


During use, keeping the wetted parts of the equipment in contact with the blister oil will greatly help the cleanability of the equipment. For the dried oil film, high-purity alcohol (concentration 95% or higher) can be used. Clean.


I. Storage of remaining blister oil:


Do not mix the washing machine water into the blister oil tank, and the blister oil that has been mixed by mistake should be discarded. The remaining blister oil in the barrel should be sealed with the original lid and placed in a cool place, and used within one month
